Hall of Fame

Our Hall of Fame is dedicated to our Champion Warmblood Sporthorses we have had the pleasure to breed.

Impromptu

Both Wunderstern and Impromptu have earned their place by brilliant championship performances and their awards as the USDF National Oldenburg NA Champions in 2003 and 2004. In addition, Impromptu was the USDF National Reserve Champion Horse of the Year for 2003, Sport Horse Colt. In January, 2005 they were sold to Dreamfield Farms, Lexington, Kentucky. We wish them a successful future!

2003 Nationwide All Breeds Champion Oldenburg N.A. Weanling Colt of the Year.

Ranked 2nd in the Nation as the Reserve Champion, Horse of the Year for 2003, Sport Horse Colt.

Donna MKF

Donna MKF, our 2015 filly by DeNiro (Donnerhall/Akzent II) out of When Worlds Unite (Weltmeyer), was PREMIUM and CHAMPION out of a large group of quality foals at her Oldenburg inspection held at Rattlewood Farms on August 24th.

Donna continues the winning tradition of all MarKim Farm’s past Champion Foals!! We are so proud of Donna as she truly is a very special filly. She is extremely athletic with a wonderful temperament and definitely deserves a spot here in the Hall of Fame!!

To date, Donna’s dam When Worlds Unite has produced 100% Premium and Champion foals for MarKim Farms.

Helena MKF

Helena MKF, our 2015 filly by Harvard (Hohenstein/Cardinal) out of Revlon (Routinier/Tarim) was awarded PREMIUM & CHAMPION at her Oldenburg inspection on August 14th at Visual Equestrian. At at only 2 months of age she was so well behaved and really strutted her stuff!!

Swan Lake MKF

Swan Lake MKF, our 2014 filly by Schwarzenegger (Sion/Calypso II/Graphit) out of Dubonnet (Diamond Hit/Roemer) was awarded PREMIUM at her Oldenburg inspection at a very young age of 3.5 weeks old. Comments were very nice walk and beautiful head and neck. The inspectors were impressed by how super well developed she was at such a young age.
Swan Lake does us proud here at MarKim Farms and follows the tradition of being another World Class filly. She truly has FEI potential. We are excited for what her future will bring!!

To date, her dam Dubonnet has produced 100% Premium and Champion foals for MarKim Farms.

Diamond Tiara MKF

Diamond Tiara MKF, our 2014 filly by Diamond Stud (Diamond Hit/Lavarino) out of Revlon (Routinier/Tarim) was awarded PREMIUM at her Oldenburg inspection on July 12. On this day, Diamond Tiara made history by breaking the all time record of being the youngest foal ever to be awarded Premium status at an Oldenburg inspection at a mere 17 hours old!!!
At this tender age, Diamond Tiara proudly carries on the tradition of MarKim Farm’s past Premium Awarded Foals!!

Royal Gem

Royal Gem, our 2013 filly by Rubignon (Rubinstein I/Donnerhall) out of When Worlds Unite (Weltmeyer), was PREMIUM and also RESERVE CHAMPION foal out of a large group of 11 very nice foals at her Oldenburg inspection held at Rattlewood Farms on August 19th.
Royal Gem continues the winning tradition of all MarKim Farm’s past Champion Foals!! We are so proud of Royal Gem as she truly is a very special filly. Congratulations go out to her new owner, Lori!!

Finest Kind

Finest Kind, our 2013 colt by Foundation (Fidertanz/DeVito) out of Dubonnet (Diamond Hit/Roemer), was a CHAMPION at his Oldenburg Inspection held at Chestershire Farms on July 14th. This beautiful colt was presented and awarded PREMIUM STATUS. In addition, he was honored with the title, “FOAL OF DISTINCTION”. This is the highest ranking given only to the most exceptional foals!!!

Finest Kind proudly follows in the footsteps of MarKim Farm’s past Champion Foals!! Way to go Finny!! He truly is a special colt and we would like to congratulate his new owner, Cheri!!!

One of the comments given by the Oldenburg Inspector was that he is one of the best Foundation foals she has seen, both here in North America and Europe!! We are so proud!

Finny was a very good boy at his inspection. After he did so well and got to wear his ribbon, he was so excited that he could not contain his exuberance as seen in the photo to the left! He was a very happy boy and we were too!!

Freedom Hit

Freedom Hit, our 2012 colt by Freestyle out of Dubonnet (Diamond Hit/Roemer), was a CHAMPION at his Oldenburg Inspection on July 11th at Chestershire Farm in Manchester, MI. This fantastic colt was presented and awarded PREMIUM STATUS. In addition, he was honored with the title, “FOAL OF DISTINCTION”. The comments given by the Oldenburg Inspector were outstanding. A few examples: “This foal is EXACTLY what we are looking for.” “Exceptionally nice foal.” “I would be so thrilled if I had a foal of this caliber in my breeding program.”

We are so happy to have bred another World Class Foal!!

Flower Power

Flower Power, our 2010 Champion Highpoint Oldenburg NA foal by Freestyle out of our Star Premium Oldenburg mare, When Worlds Unite (Weltmeyer), was rated Premium and Site Champion of all foals at the ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection in Augusta, MI at Pine Meadow Farm in Summer of 2010. She showed her fantastic character and movement and was a crowd favorite! She proudly continues the fame of past foals bred and raised here at MarKim Farms. She scored an incredible overall score of 8.4, with an 8.5 for movement. The easily ranks her in the top 10% of all foals presented in the U.S. and Canada.
Flower Power was sold to Lizzy of PA in Fall of 2010 as a weanling. She has plans to show her at Devon in 2011.

San Bella

San Bella was sold to Alida Davis of MA in 2008.

San Bella was rated Premium and Site Champion at the Oldenburg Inspection in Findlay, Ohio on August 18, 2007. San Bella follows in the footsteps of the MarKim Farms’ award winning Champion Colts: Reagan, Wunderstern, and Impromptu.
The Oldenburg Inspection Committee stated that she is of great quality and if born in Germany, she would have been selected for their esteemed Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany. Out of the hundreds of foals born in Germany, only a select few are invited to the auction. San Bella stands up to the best in Germany!

In addition, she was selected to represent all of Sagnol’s foals by being the only foal showcased in his published 2008 stallion ad!!

Reagan

Reagan, our 2005 Champion Highpoint Oldenburg NA Premium Foal by Riverman **** and our Star Oldenburg Mare Liaisonne -/*/- (Frohwind*****), was Champion at his inspection and scored an impressive 8.4. That year some 513 foals in North America were presented for inspection. Only 25 foals were awarded 8.4 or higher. This puts Reagan in the top 5% in North America! He was sold to Kathleen Mitchell of Florida in December 2005.

Impromptu
