Sir Wanabi is a very modern Elite Hanoverian stallion with refinement, elegance and athleticism. He has proven himself to be incredibly level-headed, and early indications are that he passes that trait on to his offspring. At his 100-Day Test he was awarded a 10 for character and a 9 for temperament. He has powerful, elastic gaits that make him equally suitable for either the hunter, jumper or dressage ring.
In September 2008, Sir Wanabi was shown successfully at Dressage at Devon, winning both the Six-Year-Old Dressage Suitability and Four-Year-Old and Older Stallions also Under Saddle (85%) classes. He was also named Stallion Champion of the Great American/USDF East Coast DSHB Series Final with a score of 80.45%. In 2012, he did it again winning the title for a second time in his career. Over the last few years, Sir Wanabi has been competing in the Adult Amateur Hunter division with his owner. He was awarded Champion or Reserve Champion at most of the shows he entered, winning most of the hack classes and in 2013 he won an over fence class at the Canadian Final of the Royal Winter Fair. Also in 2010 and 2011, Sir Wanabi won the prestigious Royal Winter Fair in the Canadian Sport Horse Association (CSH) stallion class.
Sir Wanabi’s offspring are being presented to several breeders show across Canada and USA with great results. He produced the double cup winner of the RWF 2013: Sweet Be. He also sired to second placed in the Lieutenant Governor Cup: Short Notice.
